They say that money doesn’t make the world go around, but it certainly helps! While it’s true that you don’t need to be stinking rich to be happy, you do need a reasonable income in this day and age to live comfortably. If you’re looking to make some extra money, whether it’s to help pay for the cost of living or to put away for a rainy day, there are some fun, easy and foolproof ways that you could go about it. Let’s take a look at some of those now.

Teaching

Everyone is looking to learn something new and expand their skill set in this day and age, and if you’ve got a talent or experience in a field that could help someone, you may consider teaching in your spare time to make some extra cash. Things like:

  • Soccer coaching
  • Cooking
  • English
  • Maths
  • DIY

These are all skills that some people need extra help with, but the list doesn’t stop there. You don’t necessarily have to teach within a classroom setting either – you could make YouTube tutorials or hold seminars that people can attend virtually.

Invest

Sometimes the only way to make a considerable amount of extra cash is to invest. You could go down the route of investing in stocks of companies or even bitcoin, but these are investments that can quickly fluctuate – and sometimes not for the better. Investing in something that doesn’t deplete like gold nuggets might be a safer option if you’re worried about losing out on your investment. Thankfully, gold doesn’t lose value and in time could be worth much more than what you paid for it.

Sell your photos

Whether you’re a professional photographer or not, you may have a collection of images which you’re particularly proud of. Why not share them with the world and make some money? There are a plethora of stock image websites that require people to pay if they’d like to use your image. What’s more? If you have an online portfolio, those that use your image may link back and give you free publicity. Win-win!

Rent out land

If you have land that’s currently unoccupied, then why not put it to use to make a pretty penny or two? This could involve turning it into a campsite or paving the land and making a private car park. If you don’t have the time to manage a private car park you can hire a private car parking management company to do so on your behalf. There’s lots of money to be made from empty land, so don’t just leave it sat there!

Deliver!

Finally, since the pandemic people are still wary about being out in public spaces, and therefore order their goods to be delivered to their homes. This could be in the form of takeaways, groceries, or even delivering for Amazon. One thing’s for sure, delivery drivers are always high in demand, and you don’t necessarily need a van either! Consider delivering for some extra cash in your pocket.
